Such an unusual find!

The pattern is \"Robbing Peter to Pay Paul\"

The fabrics are classic Civil War era. c1860

It is hand quilted at 7-8 stitches per inch and has quilted double rods that are about 1/4 just wide. Lovely leaves are also quilted with double rods.

It is hand bound.

There is a triple border around 3 sides, absent on the top.

It measures 84\" x 84\"

There is light age spotting/tanning, a small amount of surface wear and popping, mostly near the edge, there is light binding wear, a seam opening, and on the back there is a large water mark and age tanning and spotting. (See photos.)
