Antique Civil War era VictorianSMALL white porcelain child’s mug with hand painted gold decoration reading“For A Good Boy” within a hand painted floral wreath. England or New England, 1865-80, possibly earlier. SMALL: 1 3/4” tall by 1 7/8”diameter. Guaranteed old andoriginal; this is not a fake or reproduction. Perfect condition with no damage but noting lightest and appropriateusage wear to the gilt gold paint on the top rim edge and to the motto and asingle spot of old (Victorian era) gold paint on the inside of the cup, asfound.
