Approx 11.5 by 7.5 is this survivor of the civil war. Union. Newspaper titled The Casket vol 11 no 1. Hallock Hill dec 12 1863. 28 pages all mostly filled and hand written w poems memories etc. and advertisements at the end w one being a sad personal ad looking for a husband from a lady in Nebraska describing what she would like in a man. Maybe this is the first personal ad haaaha This newspaper is binded together w string Please enlarge pics to view condition w rips losses stains looseness etc. Selling as is. Very fragile but as shown in tact. Not sure on how scarce this is but has to be rare cause of paper.
