This Silver plate (possibly Nickel-silver) collapsible travel cup andalligator leather case came from my grandmother and Grandfather\'s estate from around the turn of the century. The Maker is G.G. as marked on hinge brace for the handle (which is missing), but the cup still works fine, holds water and collapse. The case is in excellent shape. This would have been used for travel or camping back in the day when you would stop and take a dipper from the local well.

Size: Cup is 3 inches tall when fully extended and 2.5 inches in diameter at the top of the cup. Collapsed, the height is only 1.5 inches. Case measures 2.75 inches in diameter x 1-3/8 inches tall.

Marks: The initials \"G.G.\" are stamped underneath the handle bracket. This is a maker\'s mark rather than a monogram.

Condition: Please note that the cup\'s handle is missing, but most of the plating is still good...it justneeds cleaning (which I deliberately did not do because it can lower the value) The alligator leather has very little wear. The cup is still fully functional and holds water. It is not dented or bent.
