This is an original item, almost 100 years old. There is slight ageing evident as you would expect of an item of this vintage. Please look at the pictures and read the description carefully.
You will not find a version of this classic book of illustrations in as good condition anywhere! A pristine ( perfect ) original edition of this vintage masterpiece will go for anything up to $4000-$5000
Description: Overall, Very Good to Excellent condition. Cloth spine, dark green paper boards with pictorial onlay to front page and story pages and pictures.
35 colour illustrations, almost all of which are signed by the famous artist Louis Wain, including half-title page and title page. There are also 2 copies of 2 outline sketches inside front and rear covers.
All about \'Daddy Cat\'. Covers are slightly marked, in line with age of the item, but otherwise unworn; there is very slight bumping and chipping to corners of the front covers; faint marks on covers, more so on rear cover, consistent with age and light use of this vintage antique book.
Inlay has no chipping to edges. Front and rear joints are excellent. Spine is in excellent condition. All pages secure fastened and in excellent condition overall.
Some spot marks are evident on 2 pages ( pictured for you to view ) and some light foxing to covers internally ( please see cover pictures ). No tears to edges of any pages

This is an estate sale. Book has been stored in crepe paper and inside a plastic cover in a non-smoking, pet free, dust free household. It has not been constantly displayed and has only been lightly used. Pages are all in very good to excellent condition. No returns are possible as this is an estate sale item.
Postage ( worldwide ) is included in sale price and book will be sent very carefully packed and padded.
