This is an authentic circa 1840\'s signed hanging bell jar lamp made in Belgium but imported to India during the English colonial period.

This one has perfect clear hand blown and cut glass in a \"goes with any decor\" pattern. The bell jar is in excellent condition, with several desirable air bubbles that speak to the quality and age of the glass.
The smoke bell, bottom cap and hammered brass band are all original. The light has been professionally electrified with a 3-bulb candelabra cluster accommodating up to 60 watts per bulb. Ceiling canopy and chain in matching antique brass patina are included.
Overall height from top of glass \"lid\" to bottom is approximately 16\". Additional matching chain is available upon request.
The width is 9-1/2\" so this is a good medium size fixture suitable for use over a small dining table, hallway, or stairway.

Brand new versions of these lamps are quite expensive. Why not have an original of the highest quality that will appreciate in value over time?
