Outstanding Turn of the Century Craftsman Machinist Chest

Edwardian Era Craftsman 7 Drawer Machinist Chest

This is an Outstanding Turn of the century (approx 100 year old) Craftsman Machinist Chest featuring a Lift Top and removable Wooden Front that turns into a Small Tray with 7 Drawers inside, All featuring the Original Felt lining over a Tin Bottom. The Original Key is Present and all of the Clasps and Locks function as they should. This old Chest would have been used by a Machinist of Sorts or perhaps a Jewelry Maker or Watchmaker. Other than a bit of Wear and Dirt on the inside from Years of Use this old Beauty is in Outstanding Condition and would be a Welcome addition to any Old Tool Collection.

This old Box is Solid and Displays nicely with a few old age cracks in the veneer on the top but nothing of concern. The inside Original fabric is Dirty and could stand a Cleaning or replacement. There is also a piece of metal missing on the inside holding the mirror in place. All Clasps function properly and the key works nicely. This one is begging for a new life outside the garage. There is also an old sloppy glue repair to the back side of the box near the bottom that is of no structural concern.
