We’re selling more antique Victorian era lamps and parts including a GWTW Red Satin Glass 10” Ball Shade in the Grape Pattern and an awesome Craighead & Kintz “Daylight” Brass Oil Lamp. This ingenious lamp has a “Full” indicator that magically appears when the oil is full! See last 2 photos.

DESCRIPTION: What can I say but Wow! Incredible Antique Victorian “Daylight” Brass Kerosene/Oil Lamp by Craighead and Kintz. This lamp’s \"new\" technology made quite a splash when in was introduced.

· Central Draft provided a more natural “Daylight”

· Tubular wick

· Lift mechanism so you didn’t have to burn your fingers or take the globe off to light it. And my favorite…

· “Full” indicator – according to the ad this was so your “servant-maid” knew when to stop filling it!

· No nooks and crannys so the dirt fell away and didn’t burn, stink up the place

· You got to read these ads – who knew Victorian’s had such a sense of humor!

· It can easily be reverted to oil: No parts were damaged electrifying.

Because the tank is donut shaped with a hole in the middle, it wasn’t necessary to drill a hole. See photos with lamp top removed. You can clearly see the top of the wick too!

SIZE: 9 ½” tall at tallest point, by 9 ½” wide across handles, about 6 ½” wide without handles

CONDITION: EXCELLENT Estate piece.

PROS: Looks to be in excellent working order. No damage from electrification.
