ANTIQUE DIETZ HY-LO OIL/KEROSENEBARN LANTERN WITH BURNER,WICK,GLASS SHADE, AND BAIL HANDLE

This oldbarn lantern was recently removed from an Eastern Virginia estate. It is13-1/2\" tall with a base diameter of5-7/8\".

The lamp is in good condition and clean throughout. Although there is wear on the lantern, there are no cracksin the glass shade, and it is complete with all working parts including a wick and font cap. The wick adjustment works properly, and the font cap is easily removed.

There are two patent dates on the center tube above the glass shade: 4-20 and 7-41. The glass shade shows a patent date of 12-4-23.
