Selling this item for an elderly neighbor: Antique Doulton\'s Burslem platter, in the Assouma pattern. According to other sources online, this platter dates from 1884. It weighs 3-4 pounds, and measures 16.5\" by 11.5\".
The defects consist of a kidney bean-sized chip at one end, with a short crack coming from the chip. The surface of the platter has crazing.
