Carved of the hardest wood in the world, Belian Wood aka Iron Wood.Extremely heavy for its size, old weathered dark brown surface with some stable ancient insect losses (see photos). An interesting curiofrom the days when these people were still head hunters. Part of my personal collection, bought years ago at an Antique Fair.
Measures 15\" tall x 6\" wide across the knees.
