Thisstunningveryearly 20th century figurine was made by the Dresden porcelain factory Dressel, Kister & Co between 1907-1922. Itis in wonderful condition with exquisite details and beautifulhand painting andcraftsmanship throughout. The ornamentation of the clothing is amazing. This is the only known version of this piece that I was able to locate.
Of note to collectors is the fact that it would not be unusual to find a range of quality from the same factory even for the same piece. This piece is one of the best pieces I have come across. It isspectacularand will make a fantastic centerpiece of your fine collection.
Overall it displays very well although there is very minor loss at the bottom of the music stand legs and the cello strings have come loose which is typical of these older pieces and difficult to detect - the very end is chipped. It measures approximately 7 1/2\" x 7 1/2.\" I will add precise measurements asap.
