Antique vintage 800 Dutch silver standard pastry server with figural and pastoral scenic decorations including a fine hunting dog, windmill, a fancy hatted mansmokingTobaccofroma pipe with two griffin dragons and two figures in a row boat. On the end of the pierced twisted handle is a winged cupid angel holding two items anda shoulder strapand pouch....similar to pouch carried by the man with dog. Note the two mythological dolphin sea monsterbeasts midway up handle....there is also another figure just above pastry blade. Lot\'s going onwith this Dutch silver pastry server.
Hallmarked HH in rectangle above a lion and key. There is also a capital B in a circle. Probably late 19th/early 20th century.Unpolished with great old surface patina and contrast. Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches. The blade about 3 1/2 inches at widest point. Weighs 108 grams. Would further benefit from light polishing...otherwise good condition.
