Beautiful antique beech box German metric weight set. Box and weights were made in Germany and distributed/sold by The Chicago Apparatus Company of Chicago, Illinois. Brass weights are marked \"grammes\" or \"grm\". In this box we have a 500g, 200g, 2x100g, 50g, 20g, 2x10g, 5g and a 2g weight. Another 2 gram and a 1 gram weight are missing. Box is cut from a solid block of beech wood. Box\'s original finish was cleaned and hand-polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Hardware is original and solid brass pieces. The box measures 6 1/4\" long x 2 5/8\" deep x 2 3/4\" tall. Shipping weight 4 lbs. !Very Fast Handling! Ships day after payment is received.
