Antique Early 1900s VICTORIAN Metal Purse Sew Thru Frame Natural Stone Cabochon:

Victorian Early 1900’s Sew Through purse frame Elaborate floral design with blue speckled stone cabochons. I am not sure if these are a natural stone or a man-made glass, but they are lovely. Up close, you can see the veining ad speckles of black and white and shades of blue. In the center, there is a large oval shaped stone surrounded by round stones and smaller ovals on each side. The stones appear on the front of the frame. The back of the frame is an intricate and dimensional floral and crest design.

Attached is a chain handle . I am not sure of the metal content, it could be a pewter but really only guessing as I am clueless.

Dimensions: 4 1/2”from tip of clasp to bottom of hinge. Chain measures approx. 15”long. Width of frame is 4 3/4”. There are forged holes along the frame and the base of the design, ready for your favorite material.

The hinges and clasp are secure and function properly.
