Beingoffered for a nod of consideration and passion for antique early Roseville is apouring pitcher which is highly embossed blue irises.

Its ageand design of the period, makes this piece rarer than one would imagine.

Pitcherstands an awe inspiring 7” in height with 4-3/4 circular bottom. Noidentification is visible-however the design and quality stands it out of acrowd.

Thefloral design and color execution: breathtaking.

In the“Collector’s Encyclopedia Roseville Pottery Volume 2 states this piece islisted for $350-$400 asking dollars.

Oh how Iwish those pricing days were back again!

Aspreviously mentioned there is a chip in the spout (view photo) crazing as wellas a tiny, tiny area on the handle and aside of the flower which may be a chip or production flaw. Theinterior displays a much deeper crazing than its lovely exterior.

Theoverall glaze and green ware pottery design is typical of the period-notinjuries!

I am notresponsible for the birthmarks which grace this piece. 107 years of progressand production have certainly perfected the process. Heat firing in 1910-16owns its own unique look. Potteryappearance changed when fuel heated kilns switched to electricity.

Thispiece is very rare, and much appreciated for its Roseville elegance and charm.

Thebarrel slatted design hugs the neck of the pitcher, adding design which raisesit above the norm.

Painfully witnessing both my Rescued Pekingese’sbattling and succumbing to afflictions which plagued and ravished their bodies:from the neglect and abuse at the hands of humans.

I have decided through my traumatic journey ofgrief over the loss of both dogs to continue my voyage of dedication andpurpose: with my unrelenting commitment to rescued hearts in the vast andreprehensible world of neglected and abused dogs.

In my soul searching (and the guidance of theLords hands) I have been introduced to the world of a Rescue in need one of adifferent circumstance than what I was previously exposed to: one of a retiredshow dog in need of re-homing.

At this time I am honored and blessed tointroduce my newest Rescued heart: Kaiser M. Wolfram aus Deutschland (Germany).

Kaiser is a charming 2 ½ year old pedigreePekingese of superior blood line. However unable to climb to the top in hisbreed classification as swiftly as his siblings- long story short: he needed tofind a forever home.

After the lengthy transatlantic flight fromEurope to the mitten state Kaiser is settling in to his “forever home” withvigor. Not a rescue of neglected or abuse: but one of travel, primping and forthe most part selected cage life.

With each passing day Kaiser is discovering thewonders of having his own yard with 24/7 love encouragement and companionship.The gorgeous thick natural show coat is in his past, comfort and ease rules hiseveryday existence.

With lightning speed Kaiser has eagerly becomingan important part of our life and family, still to this day and a regalambassador for his breed and pedigree.

Some stories have a very happy ending, and thisis one. However most are no so lucky.

I invite you to take a few moments and look overthe wonderful P.C.F. website (Pekingese Charitable Foundation, Inc.) or theheartwarming “Alura Always & Forever Pekingese Rescue” in southernCalifornia you might (and will) find the love of your life listed on eithersite. Click them both as a favorite, you will never see another rescueorganization like the ones suggested. They both are angels who walk this earth,their mission to save and rehabilitate little dogs with pushed in faces thathave suffered due to neglect and abuse.

In today’s world little dogs are taking thebrunt of frustration and hate: which seems to be free floating in our society. Rescueorganizations are swamped with dogs in need, never to turn away a dog inappalling need-they are overextended beyond capacity.

Please do something today to improve the life ofa dog!

Perhaps together we can stop the abuse andneglect at the hands of those cruel monsters that injure and maim those whohave no voice.
