This gorgeous curving brim antique Edwardian c1909 (or thereabouts) black silk velvet hat base was bare when I found it...in sound shape with glossy velvet but in need of love, so I hand stitched this AMAZING antique taxidermy bird withiridescent greens and ethereal creams to the raised crown and added gleaming emerald velvet twined with ornate passementerie trim to coordinate with a pine green wool winter suit available in a separate sale.

The hat is in excellent condition with very minor wear to the velvet, the original lining remains along with the original stiffened bandeau to keep it perched just right on your coiffure, measuring approximately as noted below....
