1441Gorgeous antique Edwardian sterling silver & natural shell ring or small jewelry box. Pique inlaid. Delicate details. Date 1908. Henry Matthews, Birmingham England. Fully hallmarked. Vintage velvet lined interior. Impressive gift for someone you love, or an excellent addition to your Edwardian English sterling collection!Size is approx 2 1/2 inches long z 2 inches wide x 1 3/8 inches tall.Condition: antique early 1900s. Pre-owned. 1 hairline crack in shell under the inlay. Can see when held up to light. (see pics) But shell isn\'t loose & doesn\'t \'wiggle\' in setting. Patina left as-is but you could polish to a shine if you\'d like. When closing lid, slightly ajar but closed even & tight with pressure (pic).
