Description
This is a gorgeous antique solid sterling silver box with a pierced lid measuring 3 1/4" across x x 1 1/4" high and in good condition.
It\'s hallmarked for London 1908 and has the maker\'s mark for William Comyns.It weighs 88 grams and the inside is nice however it could use some detailing.The pierced lid is absolutely lovely and there is a pretty pattern around the outside of the box.A slight ding on the bottom and I can\'t quite tell but there maybe a leaf missing on the pierced top. However neither ofthese issues takes away from it\'s lovely display. I have taken many pictures so please look and if you have any questions please ask. :0)It has only been lightly cleaned. I do not over clean any antiques...I leave that to the new owner.A very rare find especially on the American side of the pond.
