Antique English Bronze Inkwell - Cauldron, Crossed Pens & Wedgwood Plaque c.1860:
$695.00

A really unusual inkwell in beautifully polished bronze, having been professionally re-polished to gleam, by my silversmith. The inkwell is actually in the form of a Cauldron supported by three crossed dip pens appearing like a campfire. Underneath in the centre of the base, is a set classical Wedgwood or Jasperware plaque. The inkwell contains a removable glass liner, for easy refilling and cleaning.A handsome and most unusual piece with a base diameter measuring 6 1/2\" x 7\" tall. A few minuscule dints, insignificant and mentioned purely for accuracy. Excellent condition.Item ID: 34798FREE Worldwide Registered Airmail Directly From London, England
