~Just arrived from England~

A very fancy antique English oak frame that was originally for a beveled wall mirror (oops it was broken on the way over from England)!

~Open carving is great, dual serpents on either end and carved rosettes on the other~

~Original finish…prettier than the pictures ~

And of course, as mentioned, the frame could be hung either way, horizontally or vertically!

Condition:

The frame is in very good condition for its age, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections. The mirror was broken on the way over from England; buyer can have a new one cut at any glass shop for a nominal fee. I’d have one made, but don’t want to risk having the new one broken in transit, so I’ve just reduced the price instead! I always recommend buyer using new hanging hooks and wire to hang their antique mirrors. Once again, I always provide multiple photos that should be considered as part of the description and I encourage you to email me with any questions you might have prior to offerding. Please keep in mind antique furniture should be purchased for its uniqueness, higher quality material and craftsmanship and antique patina, charm and character….NOT for like-new condition!!!
