Here You have a Beautiful antique perforated paper needlework sampler dating to the 1880s. The needlework is of biblicalPsalm 37:5 Commit Thy Way Unto The Lord Trust Also In Him And He Shall Bring It To Pass.In addition to the needlework, the frame contains a angel on a bed of dried flowers. There is Gold (metal?) stitching around the lettering. The sampler is In an old wood frame with a heavy duty/thick cardboard panel backing kept in place with small brads and a wire hanger.The framed piece measures approximately 17 Inches High x 13 Inches Wide x 1/2 Inch Thick. As for condition,there is a small stain in the Lower Right corner of the canvas. Glass is in good condition. A nick is on the top front of the Frame. I have a Jerome Ogee Clock Dated 1863 the wood Matches the Sampler Frame.
