Here we have a Beautiful and RARE antique Gun tool and that would be a Nipple Key or wrench of a type mostly associated with the English cased pistols I believe. Top brass cap unscrews to reveal the socket for a small nipple, about 3/16 inch square base. Cap has room to store an extra nipple. Everything is in Very Good condition. Has a tight crack in the wood but minor. Please see my photos which shows everything well.
