A stunning and highly decorative Victorian sterling silver card case with a central raised cartouche to the centre, both back and front.Surrounding this cartouche is a plethora of stunning repousse decoration creating a showy and glamorous example.The hinged lid is in full working order and once opened reveals the full English hallmark for Birmingham 1899, making this a true Victorian example. The makers initials are also present, MJJ, for the silversmith, Matthew John Jessop.
