A stunning late Victorian sterling silver string dispenser, the box with an all-over embossed or repousse decoration with a beehive shaped dispenser to the top.
The lid lifts off to reveal a lavishly gilded interior.
There is a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1900, late Victorian in era. The makers initials are also present for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews. Excellent condition with a diameter measuring 2 1/2\" and standing 3 3/4\" tall.
