A lovely set of Victorian tongs made in London in 1839 good crisp clear hallmarks but I have been unable to identify the maker from the marks initials BS.
A nice plain set of tongs 5 1/2 inches/14 cm in length no dinks dents or repairs one letter monogramme to the end of the tongs (D), they weigh in at 34 gms.
The condition for 179 year old tongs is very good antique condition, surface scratching commensurate with age.Will post worldwide using s Global Shipping Programme, UK 2nd class signed for.
