Up for sale is a wonderful and very unusual Wedgwood handled plate with a Majolica medallion portrait of a young woman in the center and branch with blue ribbon handle. I have not been able to find anything like it in any of my books or on the net. Could be RARE. The plate has colorful flowers, a butterfly and a darling bird. Please look carefully at all pictures, they tell a better story then I can. Plate is 9 1/4\" in diameter and center medallion is approx. 4 1/2\". This is a very special plate and would be a show piece in any collection.
