Antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver (impressed marks on the back) JUBILEE brooch. Has attractive yellow and rose gold overlay on the front. Made Birmingham, 1886, for the following year\'s Jubilee (celebrating Queen Victoria\'s 50 years on the throne). The maker\'s mark looks like AFS or AJS. In good condition, with slightly flattened centre top bobble - see photos. Size - 4.9cm x 3.2cm approx. Weight - 5.7g.
