For consideration is this Antique Etched Engraved German Print on Laid Paper of Pink and White Flowers with green leaves. The Gilt Frame measures 8\"x10\" The colors are hand enhanced. Written in the lower left corner of the print is \"Nach Nat. gezeichn v. Stark\" Obvious visible laid pattern of Laid Paper has a ribbed texture. This method of paper making was used in the pre-mechanical period of Europe. (12th to 19th Century) See photo. Condition: Good antique condition. These 2 prints were evaluated by a professional artist specializing in lithographs, engravings, etchings. She was unable to determine which of these early methods of printing exactly was used. There is acid damage. One corner of the frame has been repaired. See photo.
