Finely chiseled French smallsword. All mounts finely chiseled and engraved steel with gilt background. Silver wire handle with wound turks heads on either end. Hollow ground triangular blade with bluing and gilt designs on first quarter of blade. \"W\" engraved on base of blade. Early to mid 18th century. Very good condition-99% of original gilt on handle remains and is in excellent condition. Blade has minor staining and wear. 50% of original bluing and 90% of gold on blade remains. Original tip.
