Offered for sale is this antique French porcelain figural double inkwell. It has beautiful faces on 2 sides. I\'ve sold some Jacob Petit pieces in the past and this looks and feels like some of those. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures.

SIZE: It is just under 10.5 inches long from handle to handle. It weighs just under 3 pounds.

CONDITION: There is some wear to the paint, especially to the raised white enamel. There is a hairline to one side of one handle, and short hairline or spider crack near one of the wells - the pen is pointing to this in the close up pictures, there are 2 pictures of the same hairline, one from the top, one from the bottom, not 2 different hairlines. There is a small chip to the bottom of one of the feet - the pen is pointing to this in the close up picture.

MARKS: Incised "X" on the bottom as shown.
