Fabulous antique blonde \"faux\" tortoise shell large hooped chain necklace and matching compact case with removable mirror from the Pacific. Both the necklace and compact case are in very good antique condition without issue. Chain links are sturdy and very thick. The blonde variety is the rarest and most desirable. The last photo is of a nearly identical tortoise shell necklace from the Gilbert Islands in the collection of the British Museum (not included). Very rare and increasingly more difficult to find.
