This is an authentic antique pitcher and bowl set made between 1891 and 1901 as dated by the mark. Doulton-Burslem was the precursor company to Royal Doulton who we are most familiar with today. The company logo was used from 1886 and the crown was added in 1896 when it became a pottery for the king. The word England was added in 1891 and the combination used for the years 1891-1901 according to multiple online Royal Doulton resources.
The pattern \"Buttercup\" is also part of the maker\'s mark. It is a lovely dark blue floral on white. The basin, bowl measures approximately 16-1/2 inches in diameter and 5-1/2 inches deep. The pitcher\'s approximate measurements are from the tallest and widest sections of the piece. It is 12 inches by 9-1/2 inches by 8 inches.
