Offered in this sale is an antique molded folk art clay redware cat whistle in the form of a cat that I would date to the 19th century. I cannot say for sure if this is American Pennsylvania or perhaps English, however, it most certainly in old. It is partially glazed. It measures roughly 2 7/8\" tall x 1 7/8\" wide. The condition is very good. There is small bit of the tip of the right ear that is chipped, otherwise, the condition is excellent. There are no other chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.
