For your consideration is this Antique Frederick Marson Sterling Silver CallingCard Holder. It is 4\" long and 2 3/4\" wide. It was made in Birmingham, England by master silversmith Frederick Marson in 1856. The condition is unbelievablefor its age, absolutely wonderful. Its original leather case is included, but it is missing the hinge that connects both sides, so it now closes like a box. There are some tiny dings on the right bottom edge and the top middle edge, but not very noticeable. All markings are on interior lid opening. The card holder without case is 2.2 ounces. It has an L.C. monogram on front.
