Awesome antique cloth boudoir doll, circa 1920s Art Deco eraFrench/Parisienne flapper style, her clothes are classic 1920\'s and feature a lot of green velvet ribbon streamers and also rosettes; her skirt is a dusky lavenderShe is 24\"-25\" long and wears a fancy hat that pins on that also has ribbons and rosettes; her undergarments and shoes are detailed--the shoes have little nailed-on heels--very cool!She seems a bit risque, as she appears to be topless--but she has lace sleeve cuffs and collar that match her apron, giving the appearance of a 3/4\" sleeve dress; her skirt might be silk or rayon? Her bloomers are silk, her hair looks like it is human hair and is hand-woven I think; her face reminds me of Lenci dolls; it is cloth over some kind of softer compo or something; the rest of her is clothThis doll is very old and does show some age-related flaws: the silk lining to the inside of her hat is tattered and needs to be replaced and her leather shoes show wear; the rest of her shows general age & wear and she could use a gentle cleaning, but her face paint looks pretty good with not a lot of paint loss and her clothes need steaming/cleaning but I didn\'t see any tears; she is not mint (those Flapper girls had a \"fast\" lifestyle!) :) but she is a wonderful and rarer find among Boudoir dolls and she would be a great addition to any collection; if you like the French boudoir dolls, then this is a good opportunity to get one that just needs relatively minor tlc
