A most interesting piece. I would definitely say French and it has the style of Louis X1V with the plume accents. Superb detail in the very expressive face. Wonderful quality. I am guessing that this may have been a furniture accent, but I am really not sure. Now it is obviously mounted on a black Display Stand. The Bronze itself is in excellent condition. Please see all of my pictures to hopefully appreciate the beauty of this wonderful piece of antique Bronze. Bronze is in excellent condition. Some wear to the base of the Black Stand, but this could easily be touched up, if so desired. Size including the Stand is approximately 8\" tall The Bronze piece itself, is approximately 4\" X 2 1/2\".
