This is an early 20th century French standing plaque of the holy rite of communion (Panis Vitae) signed A. Sales. The full piece is about 5 by 6 1/2 inches. The metal plaque is about 3 1/3 by 4 3/4 inches. The onyz is gorgeous and with a bevelled edge. The piece is mounted on a brass stand. (F1782)
