Up for consideration is a Antique French Jeweled Bronze Gold Gilt Filigree Miniature Hinged Pill or Trinket Box. The box measures 1 3/4 inches from front to back by a tad less then 1 3/4 inches from side to side and sits 5/8ths inches tall. The lid is hinged and has a small lip on lid front to open box. The lid is open filigree work with prong set red glass stones and prong set pearls. The sides of the box intricate embossed metal work designs with a smooth bottom. The bottom is marked \"MADE IN FRANCE.\" I believe this box is made of gilt bronze, since it is not attracted to a magnet.
