Thislisting is foran antique French Limoges porcelain miniature perfume holder with 3 small glass bottles. The porcelain basket measures 2 inches or 5 cm high to the top of the handle, and is 2 inches at its widest. The bottle measure 1 ½ inches or 3.8 cm high.
The porcelain basket is hand painted with pink roses on a white ground with pink stripes between the flowers and further highlighted with heavy applied gold. Around the top rim is a gilt brass border with bow and a twisted handle. The bottles are clear glass with gilt metal screw tops and red jewels on the top. The bottom of the porcelain is marked “LIMOGES FRANCE PEINT MAIN”.
It is in very good condition with only minor darkening to the brass. Please see the photographs for more on the look and condition of this fine piece as they are an important part of the description.
