Beautiful Antique French LOUIS PHILIPPE Solid Cherry Armoire. Measurers 87 inches high by 49 1/2 inches wide body (53 inches wide at bonnet) by 21 3/4 inches deep body (23 3/4 inches deep at bonnet). The three shelves are 47 inches wide by 17 3/4 inches deep (and are removable).
Handmade, hand planed solid wood, second half of the 19th century (1860s to 1880s), but the shelves are new replacements (also solid cherry). Includes original lock and key. Stationary door uses a hand wrought iron hook (see image).
This is a very nice original condition armoire. Obviously, there are dents and scratches--it is over 100 years old.
Ground floor delivery within 100 miles of Petersburg, Virginia is only $150. Greater distances are negotiable. (Please note that if we deliver the armoire, it is not returnable. If you pick it up, you may return it within 30 days in its present condition, and we will refund your purchase in full. It can be dismantled into seven flat pieces and will fit into a station wagon or mini van. If you wish to pick it up, we will dismantle it in your presence so you can see how to reassemble the piece in your home.
