Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this beautiful antique majolica plate.
Made by the French Orchies majolica company in the north of France in the 1800\'s.
It features hanging cherries, green, grey and brown leaves and white flowers along the rim and a large red and white flower on green leaves in the center.
This is a nice large plate measuring 8.75 inches in diameter, a great size for display or use!
It is in excellent condition for being as old as it is. It has a shallow chip on the back foot ring that sits on the table and is not seen from the front. It has overall glaze crazing which is normal for antique majolica.
