Offered for sale is an antique French Prisoner of War straw work cigar case. This very detailed straw work was made during the Napoleonic War, circa 1800. The case features a family crest with a crown. The other side shows part of a castle, crossed swords and a wreath. The fine craftsmanship is amazing. The two halves fit snugly. The case is 6 3/8 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide and 1 inch thick. The case is in very good condition with only minor age wear.
