Antique French Oak Carved Lion WALL Trumeau Oil Painting –Renaissance-Architectural

~Direct from France~

~Highly unique antique French treasure, I absolutely adore this large carved 19th century ‘trumeau’ or wall hanging!~

~Elaborate molding throughout, with the upper crown having French carved gadrooning and carved ‘fish scales’ between the dimensional lion heads (notice the original brass rings are still in their mouths)~

~Black Forest style dimensional carvings flank either side of the oval center and continue along the lower molding~
~And look at the gorgeous original oil painting in the center! (I can’t see the artist name and I don’t want to remove it from the frame)~

~Of course if the buyer wanted to do so, you could remove the oil painting and replace it with a mirror or another oil painting of your choice~

~definitely 19th century, c1880~
