This portable artist\'s easel was made in France around 1900. It is marked \"RJ/ Modeles Brevetes et Deposes/ Made in France.\" Made of solid wood with metal-lined fitted interior, brass hardware and locks. This easel was used by Robert Duvall in the movie \"Seven Days in Utopia.\" The movie was released in 2011. The enclosed image shows Duvall hard at work and the piece comes with a certificate of authenticity from the Property Master on the film. It measures 21x15x8\" and weighs 13 pounds. It folds up completely into an easily carry-able piece. A fun bit of movie history.
