Antique French Sequined Black Silk & Blonde Horn Hand Fan, Circa 1800-1849:

This is an adorable little fan with a small tear on the upper right next to the guard. Needs to be re-glued to the guard. The sticks and guards are inlaid with cloute, with a floral design. The left guardstick has some rough edges that might have been a break in the past that had been repaired - it\'s very hard to see. The leaf has gold colored sequins and spangles. It measures 9-1/2\" long. The fan used to be displayed in a frame as the horn sticks have bent (see last photo). It can still be opened easily, but it can be reframed. Sorry about the shadow covering the lefthalf of the fan - it is all one color - no fading or anything.
