An exceptional little sewing etui for all your needlework, tatting and sewing needs. A French piece Circa 1870s era.

This fine casket is a special one and handed down many generations. It comes from a Philadelphia family estate.

An Etui with a handle handbag type are extremely hard to find.

This example is wonderful in a brilliant blue velvet velour. A luxury item in its day.

Garnished with decorative white metal furniture with original closure.

A signed Brevette lock and called Le Rapide Solide.

Measuring 6 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches

Handle extends up about 3 1/2 inches

Inside you will find all the lush instruments and even a bevel glass mirror.

Light spotting, some rubs, handle has a slight bend, very nice shape.
