Bought in France. This is a great piece. It is a largeFrench wickergrape harvestbasket. It is in great condition for its age.These were usedback in the day during harvest season for theharvest pickersin the vineyards to collect the grapes in. The wicker itself is ingreat condition. It still has the original 2 wicker carrying handles and the original leather straps. (Theone strap is broken but it is really hard to find them with the original straps as they would often break or get hard and brittle and break, plus where the upper back part connects with the lower basket one side is slightly loose and cracked, but is not noticeable)...This would make a great decorative piece in any country home...It measures: 15\" long, 19.5\" wide, and 36\" high.(at highest point, 25\"high at the top of the basket)
