What immediately stands out with this sculpture is thepatina. The head is carved out of a single piece of very dense wood with greatdetail and expression. The back and part of the top are unfinished as it ismeant to be hung on a wall or was mounted on a larger piece. The condition isvery good with no breaks or missing pieces. There are some very old worm holes,long since treated, no other defects. This piece was found in France and camefrom an old building that was being rebuilt.

Measurements are: 9” x 7 ½” x 4 ½”.
