Description

A handsome silver salverbyfemale silversmith Dorothy Mills.

The top embellished with high quality chased decoration.

Elements include C-scrolls and blooming flowers.

With heavy cast vine and grape rim, sitting on four cast scroll feet.

Fully hallmarked to underside forDorothy Mills, London, 1751.

A good, early salver by a seldom seen female silversmith.

Condition

A coat of arms to centre has been covered with a blank cartouche.

Otherwise in good antique condition with just expected wear.
